I will never buy flowers from there again.i shop there because of Peggy she's a great flower designer and an old friend,but the owner of the shop has attitude problem.In the last year I've ordered flowers from there at least 6 times for funerals at 150$ a shot.im out of town so I called long distance to order flowers for my aunts funeral from Peggy.i called back in the evening to confirm everything was ok Peggy was not there. the owner spoke to me very abrasive.He told me why am I calling back that he was tired he was working a14 hour day and he had no time for me.Well guess what I also work 14 hour days on regular basis but I don't talk to my customers that way because i wouldn't have any left. I WILL NEVER BUY FLOWERS FROM VENUS MARCHE DES FLEURS EVER AGAIN. THE OWNER IS RUDE, UNPROFESSIONAL.I guess he has so much business he doesn't need mine
We chose Venus to do the flowers for our son's baptism recently. My wife had planned out a theme including white roses, blue hydrangeas and italian ruscus greenery. These elements were intricately tied into other parts of the decor (green wreath on cake, green leaves hanging down from balloons, etc). They forgot to include the Italian ruscus into our centerpieces. So essentially, there was greenery everywhere except for in the floral arrangements, which was a big miss for us. Furthermore, they had to deliver the flowers a day early due to the Tour de L'Ile. This wasn't mentioned to us when we made the reservation, but only a week before our event. Streets were opened as of noon, and the event was only at 4pm, allowing plenty of opportunity for Venus to deliver the flowers the same day. Sadly, many of the hydrangeas had wilted. Had we known this in advance, we probably would have made arrangements with a florist who was willing to make the delivery the same day, in order to ensure fresh flowers, proper storage, etc. When my wife called the florist to express her disappointment, she was told that Peggy would speak to John, and that they would call her back . To make matters worse, nobody bothered returning her call (almost 3 weeks ago). My in-laws have been long time patrons of this florist, so we are extremely disappointed with the poor customer service we received.
Very friendly and helpful! And the flowers were a beautiful part to our special day.
John is outstanding. He and his staff are extremely knowledgable with what they do. Took such great care of my husband and I for our wedding. Hands down the best place.
Bought a gardenia plant for 59.90 + tax at this shop. I warned the owner that his gardenias are infested with Arachnids - He recommended me to spray the plant with a mild solution of water and dish detergent. Seriously HE SHOULD USE water and soap to wash himself!Total amateurs, avoid them at all costs.
