Super friendly and welcoming place! Our cats are treated very well. One of them is a little complicated because shes terrified of going to the veterinarian but they know how to handle and take care of her :)
The service is great. Stuffs are friendly and helpful. They will tell you the price upfront to see if you are comfortable with. When we were there, there was an emergency, so took us a little bit longer. But I think most of the time will be fine. They also provide cans food and dry food for what your pet needed. First time General consulting is $60...plus whatever your pet needs for a prescriptions and tax.
My dog was constantly in pain so I frequented this vet but the vet wasn't able to to give me any diagnostics even after spending so much money on the check up every time. My dog ended up going to an emergency one night for the same symptoms and the dog had to go through a major surgery.++ It's interesting that the veterinaire replied to this review saying they weren't able to find my file in their system when they emailed me directly asking about my feedback and still email me their ad for vet check ups and vaccinations. For that reason I'm lowering my review from two stars to one star.
A very big heartfelt thank you to Dr. Rosalie Boisvert and all the staff at Clinique Mont Royal. Everyone showed genuine compassion and care as we started to go thru the journey of saying good bye to our beloved 18 yr. old calico Naiomi. Dr. Boisvert was an absolute gem in explaining procedures, these by means of calls to us after her long work hours. Never did she rush her answers to my many questions, instead her patience in explaining and reassuring our concerns showed her genuine passion for the profession she chose. Upon coming over to the house a week or so later for the inevitable, she once again explained to us every step of the procedure and constantly reminded us to take our time in saying goodbye to Naomi. We truly felt we had made the right decision in coming to you Dr. Boisvert at this difficult time. We wish you, the clinic and its staff continued success and thank you so much for everything. From Naiomi and all her family.
Always a pleasure to come here with my cat! They always remember his name and treat him with such love. You can tell the people working here really love what they do. The prices are fair, and I always end up paying less than I did when visiting other vets. Definitely recommend!
